📁 The files Celestory accepts, and how to organize them

Every project has its own media library, opened from the Files menu (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + E). Everything your blocks display or play comes from there.

Format

Extension

Good to know

OTF

.otf

Preview in four sizes.

TTF

.ttf

Same.

🦴 2D animation with Spine

A Spine animation requires three files, uploaded separately then picked one by one in the Spine resource: the texture as PNG, the skeleton as JSON, the atlas as .atlas.

🔺 Keep the .atlas extension as it is. Celestory recognizes files by their extension: renamed to .txt, your atlas becomes a text file and disappears from the atlas picker. In the list, an .atlas is displayed as "Unknown file": that is expected.

⬆️ Adding files

The + button, at the bottom of the left-hand column, opens four entries: Add file(s) (multiple selection), Add folder, Record audio and AI Generation.

🔺 You cannot drop a file from your desktop: drag and drop only serves to tidy up the files already there. Use the + button. On a narrow window, the left-hand column is hidden and the + button with it: widen the window.

🗂️ Organizing your media library

  • Folders, not tags. Celestory offers neither tags nor labels: your organization relies on folders and on clear names.
  • Moving: drag your files onto a folder, or onto the back arrow to go up one level.
  • Searching: the search field sweeps the whole project, not just the open folder.
  • Sorting: click the Name, Date, Size or Type headers.

📊 Available space

A gauge at the bottom of the list reads "X of Y used". This quota is specific to the project and depends on your plan. An upload that would exceed it is rejected, and nothing is kept.

🔺 A single file cannot exceed about 2 GB.

Select a single file, open the ⋯ menu then Reimport. The file keeps its identity, its name and its location: the blocks using it keep pointing at it, with no reconnection. Only the content, the size and the date change.

The selection window will only offer files in the same format as the original. To change format, upload a new file and rewire your blocks.

→ Next step: connect these files to your blocks with Content Management.
